Jointly with the Chair of Women in German Studies (W+IGS) and President of the German Language Association (GLA), the President of the Association for German Studies of Great Britain and Ireland (AGS), Peter Davies has sent a letter to the Principal and Chief of Court at the Heriot-Watt University opposing proposed staff cuts to the Department of Languages and Intercultural Studies and threats to close German and Chinese.
