2024 AGS Conference

The 92nd Conference of the Association for German Studies in the UK and Ireland was hosted by the University of Leeds and took place in took place in Leeds on 2-4 September 2024.
The lead panel theme was ‘The Futures of German Studies’, and our President’s Guest was Mithu Sanyal, who attended virtually.

Registration is now open:
There is no early bird rate; registration will be open until 16th August.
There is a limited amount of campus accommodation available to book via the registration link.
The venue for the conference, Cloth Hall Court, is centrally located two minutes’ walk from Leeds train station. We would encourage attendees to use public transport where possible. There is no general onsite parking available, although accessible parking is available on request if needed.
